Excellent way of inserting the "LGBTQ are pedophiles" hysteria bullshit into the conversation.

this is why I said what I said.
Are you implying I said all LGBTQ are pedophiles? I even said I wasn't accusing her/him of being one. I was giving one possible example of what could've happened. I'm saying we should not pass judgment until we know both side of the story.
"Gotta hear both sides" is how the world ends, I believe. You don't actually have to hear both sides for everything. If you can't manage to play a video game in a manner that doesn't spur people to feel the need to make forum posts, like this one, I don't actually need to hear your side.
"He said gay people should die in a fire"... "Well now wait a minute, let's hear his side of it."
It creates a false equivalence that both of the opinions and intentions are equal, and you just have to decide between them.
I disagree... Largely because no evidence is provided just she he said. I don't know anything about the LS other it's named Troll, the accuser or accused. Maybe something happened maybe not, we can't pass judgment on what someone said with not a shred of evidence.
Scenario A:
Let's say we're camping a HNM together as a LSand we're both due for rare drop. We both allowed to lot on the item but you win, I ask for you to pass but you decline. I get salty quit the LS, and then goto the forums and say you had said homophobic comments, joke and anti LGBTQ statements. Are you not allowed to defend yourself? Do people not need to hear your side?
Scenario B:
You find an article that is anti LGBTQ and are pretty against it. People ask you what's in so you provide a quote. I sign on or come back from afk while you're making the quote and due to log cutoff I didn't catch the first portion. I get upset about the quote believing it was your actual beliefs and I quit the LS before you explain and post on the forum. Do you have the right to defend your self?
Scenario C
Someone says you must include transwomen/transmen when looking for dates, but someone else want to settle down and have kids. Or perhaps Lesbian who wants to date biological women (there is actually arguments on this in LGBTQ circles). You say let's not have this discussion on this here or maybe you state your opinion I disagree on the comment. Do you have the right to defend your statement?
Scenario D
You actually said something horrible and anti LGBTQ as this is what you grew up on. I see the comment and call you out on it and quit. I post on the forums. If you actually did make the slurs you should be shamed and ridiculed.
The last one is where I see the largest merit to not hear both sides, but in my opinion it is a bad leg to stand on. Without any evidence it can be scenario A B C D. Not to mention if he's exposed to different view points s/he'll learn that community doesn't tolerate this kind of stuff and perhaps change.
I just simply believe everyone should be innocent until proven guilty. And the burden of proof should be on the accuser.
