Well, the login issue is resolved but the lobby servers are still down.

Yep, lobby servers still stuck halfway, and won't respond. Still down. Sad.

I can get through the name and password, but it's the lobby server that hangs at half bar status, and/or tries to get out of the lobby but leaves an error message. 3101? Something like that.

I even tried to login with my alt, and my mule, and they got through the lobby servers, but are stuck on the black screen, with "Data downloading......." I've been playing on this server for quite awhile and have never had any major problems. It's enough to make me want to move to Eden, or the equivalent of a better run server. How can someone let this many bugs go unchecked? I was browsing through the list of troubleshooting issues, and error messages. There's no reason to have that many potential problems, that players can encounter, without a solution to fix many of those issues themselves. That troubleshooting list could, easily, be much shorter, if a little attention was given to it. Either way, I'll get some sleep, but I'm not hopeful that these in-games issues will just go away, when I try to log back in, later on. Anyway, goodnite, and here's hoping that all who are having problems can log back in. Peace.

Brother, chill out. This is not an every day occurrence and as someone who has played on a good amount of private FFXI servers I can assure you that you will not find a server anywhere near as stable as this one. In fact the one thing I along with many others - even from other server owners mind you - will give Nas credit for, is the stability and willingness to provide server up-time to us as often as possible. So much so that the dude spends thousands a year just for DDOS protection, a service I'm sure you won't find ANY other server provider willing to pay out of their own pocket for. This is the first time the server has been down for this long in quite a while, and it's not just you that is unable to login atm, but if you still want to move on to another server due to the occasional instability you're going to be disappointed.

I say this as someone who shits on the dude for his game balancing and patch decisions regularly.

To think that people get this pissed for a wonderful service provided that they themselves didn't spend a dime for.
