I dont think you realize how much bullcrap comes in that nas has to deal with. Every single PM and report he gets, he has to decide if it had enough info to research and put time into, or if its a simple "click here". I am sure with nabs disappearance, hes gotten an overflow of "my game isnt working" and "the launcher isnt working". Which, depending on the person, takes about an hour to fix per issue. Then you had the chars dissapearing issues, which im sure took 1-3 hours per char to restore. This isnt even counting the countless RMT reports and the player reports, like botting and harassment. Which easily each report could take over an hour. Botting ones take longer since hes waiting for nms to pop on their normal schedule. THEN you have to factor in fixing random bugs that come up, which lets be honest, you cant put a time on. And then people expect more content, more fixes, more things. He also works and has a family, so his server time is cut in half at least. So you got a good 10-12 hours of server time to deal with all said above, and thats if he has no other hobbies or anything else, just this server and game. A lot of his time could be freed up if people who report can report correctly, with a ton of info, so that nas doesnt need to research everything himself and can easily see the situation by evidence presented.
Things that can help clear up nas:
Report things with extreme detail and undeniable evidence. If your reporting someone for botting, take down the zone, time, date, which nm, Screenshots, and video it. Video evidence is so helpful! Even if you think the info is not needed, it probably would help. RMT chat, take down the time, zone, date, screenshots if applicable, names, and any other info that leads to others. Always make sure its 100% gilsellers. If theres any doubt it isn't, find evidence to support it is, then report it. But dont buy gil, <_<. I feel like that is needed to be said.
Hoping in irc once in a while and helping answer basic questions helps a ton! If you know how the server login stuff works, help if you can.
If you find a bug in the game, video it. Record the date, time, zone, chars involved, mobs involved, items involved, step by step instruction on recreating the bug, screen shots before and after, and any other info that might be important to the bug. Once all info is gathered, then report to nas. This helps him recreate something without having to spend the extra time researching.
I just thought id help out and explain a little bit why calls like "xxx is botting Spook" "xxx is rmt please help" wont see attention or resolutions when the plate is already extremely full. Also I would like new content too, so anything that could possibly free up a few hours a day for nas to work on some new things would be amazing.
