I will also point out that Spinal Cleave is supposed to ignore shadows but here it does not.
well if it ignored shadows, it would make it difficult to exp off them.
Nasomi is not era accurate for anything but 75 cap, lacking geo/sch/dnc/run, and lacking a few spells/items/equips that weren't originally in the game. And i guess having bad cures, if that recent change is something to be proud about. It's focused around the ToAH "era" of content, but there's a lot of quality-of-life and custom adjustments.
there really are only a handful of exp camps for every 10 levels and it's not uncommon to find that "good" camps are taken, and to need to settle for slower exp on lower level mobs. If quutrubs were more accurate, those two camps in caedarva would basically disappear, putting more strain on boyahda and bibiki which themselves can only accommodate about 2 camps each for that level range. Power Leveling seems to be a meta here rather than adventuring and just getting exp from mobs along the way, given the game is pretty old and there is little left to discover. Camp for exp, and be thankful there's a camp to fit anyone from 1-75.
