Hi guys, a friend of mine was doing Three Paths with us and he seems to be stuck. Has this happened to anyone before and has Nasomi helped out with being stuck or is he screwed?

We can't pinpoint exactly where something might have been missed, he was there for every part of Three Paths and got every cutscene we were getting. After the final Cid dialogue the mission log updated for everyone but for my friend his was just "Three Paths" and no bullet points, mine was showing Three Paths + all the paths and sub points. When he went to talk to Cid again he was talking about Carbuncle, so he went out to La Theine and checked the "???", nothing happened. Oddily the dialogue with Cid does show that he completed Louverance's path but it's not in the mission log at all, it's just "Three Paths" under completed and in progress.

What could have gone wrong? Bummed out because we're losing a buddy who can do Sea events with us.

Someone else got stuck kind of like this, xcept kept telling them to go help ulmia, idk that they ever got it fixed. Good luck

I'm guessing somewhere along the way a step was missed but the game kept letting them progress by giving them cutscenes... it's why I am super repetitive when doing missions/quests and quadruple hit enter on NPCs or "???"s. If this is the case I don't even know where and how they'd get it fixed if Cid keeps saying go talk to Carbuncle and hitting the "???" in La Theine doesn't trigger anything. Really hoping he gets a response from Nasomi :-/.

I've had problems where I dont get flagged for cs even though I saw it, have him start from the beginning and try every cs/npc again.

._.; I'm not sure where he would even start. Already spoke to Cid a bunch of times, clicked on the La Theine ???, logged out, tried again, nothing. It's odd that both his Completed and In Progress log says "Three Paths" when everyone else's has bullets and sub bullets.

Start trying one of the other paths instead of the carbuncle one, if nothing then try one of the later cs on the tenzen path, it sounds like that's where theres a problem, might need to redo a cs somewhere in there.

Hi, let me share my experience with you.

I had the same issue, stuck at 3 path unable to complete it.
After running through every NPC/clickpoint, i decided to try activating the BC fights.

Eventually found out that the bc at attowha chasm gave me the fight for Headwind, went to beat it, then the snoll and get the clear for 3 path.


So here are what you might want to try: go straight to boneyard gully and see if you can do the shikaree fight again,

Failing which you could try redoing all 3 path again, retrace every step, npc, and bc fight and you should eventually find a false flag along the way.

Its frustrating af, but it beats restarting a lvl1 toon.

T_T unfortunately he didn't start any of the BCNM fights, I triggered them all and I was able to get sea access.

I would suggest the Avatar Gate at the bottom of the lift on Tenzen Path part 2. It's real easy to get to and I've known several people not get credit for that CS.
