Apparently Ninja class is the only sub job to have because of one power.

The ninja blink power.

Either give the power to all jobs, Nasomi, or remove the job. Right now it is over valued because of your own personal actions on how the server runs. So your intervention is required to fix the job.

Just give all classes the blink spell or get rid of ninja, whatever is easiest for you but you must correct that or the TP buildup on AOE or something. The power is in your hands to stop everyone subbing ninja for end game.

These threads are always so era. People subbed ninja on retail because of the game's damage and enmity mechanics. Even if nas traveled back in time and got the '05/06 source code, you would still be subbing nin. If nas *did* remove nin, people would just go back to doing what some groups did before they could get pld/nin handling enmity, and do Aerial Armor rotations.

I recall many warriors that I discussed things with back in the day subbed SAM, and this was when the tp burn meta was at full steam in toau.

/sam gets used a bit here. People just don't really settle for chaining vt kills for merits here, which was about all we had retail during the 05 era. TP burn meta's worked good for 2h/sam then cause we was spamming chain #infinity on greater colibri, or puks and mamools. Here on nasomi though we have other options that hit a little harder, and give more exp, so to move as fast and efficient most of the tpburn meta here still needs/nin. It's fairly dependant on your group tho.

For instance if you were to show up as drk/sam with apoc, adaberk, homam, aces #theworx and everyone else showed up drk/nin in AH gear, that single drk/sam in #theworx will be a big mp sink. However if everyone showed up drk/sam in #theworx then they'll die fast enough and bounce aggro enough that /sam would be plenty enough mitigation. If everyone showed up drk/sam in AH gear, they're probably not going to die fast enough or bounce aggro enough, then everyone becomes an mp sink. So the safe bet is to show up /nin, cause the mitigation means less to hopefully none of those annoying "/p MP = <mp> <mpp> " out of mana macros.
