Welp i was gone for a month or so, came back and some how my account was breached, main items i can tell that were stolen were my haubergeon and Amemet Mantle +1 was gone, and this hands with the +str on em. i have given my account to no one, i have been pinging Nas on naschat for a month, yes i know he just got back from vacation a few days ago, i have been persistent but met with silence. I'm at my whits end, i spent so much of my time farming for these item and its just gone, BOOM nothing. My Character's name Is Joshness, i logged into my account on the browser and noticed an Alt i never registered to my account, i had 0 alts before this one appeared, name was Wheraex, i didnt delete the alt encase Nas needed to look at it, changed my password etc. few days later after Nas came back and did the RMT bans the alt was gone too. My friends ask me every day if i heard anything and some even /tell Nas's character in the dunes to maybe get some help, silence. Im desperate guys... shit i would perfer nas just tell me he cant do anything than have no response. Help.... anyone...? this is the 3rd post i made but it seems the "Game Support" area isn't looked at as much. idk

It sucks and sorry your account was breached, but there's nothing the forums can do for you, which is probably why you were met with silence. Nas on naschat is the only way.

Our recent accomplishments

I'm sure many of us can feel your pain.

My best friend IRL who never played Retail at launch, recently tried Nasomi so we can game together again. His new char was only 4-5 days old, but we put lots of work into it, getting some gear, camping NMs, sneaking him to OP warps. One day he had just recently gotten his choco license, and was chocoing to Palborough Mines to try solo farming his Kazham keys. He zoned into Mines to a black screen, and had to force quit the game. When he was able to log back on a few mins later, his toon was in Mordion.

He as well has been trying to reach Nasomi on Naschat every day, and every day no reply. I know it really sucks to be in that situation, but there is literally no other remedy to turn to, at least that I know of.

Sorry OP, my character was hacked too, and all of my hard work was taken from me. I will never be playing on nasomi again because there's serious security flaws going on or something. I didn't share my account info with anyone either.

About 6 months ago there was a huge security issue that came out. Hundreds affected, nas fixed it, and fixed hundreds of players. Still a character gets hacked from time to time because hackers download massive password lists then match them to forum names and if you've used the same password/login elsewhere, you're vulnerable. Nas has spoken out/tweeted/streamed this in the past. If you're using weak/common/shared passwords, that's something that is out of nasomi's control.

And as Nasomi has said in the past, it's him vs thousands. naschat pm's are answered in the order which they are received. People need to be patient and he gets to them. He's already doing a lot of work for everyone in making this possible, then needs to do more work in combatting rmt, developing new content, chasing rule breakers, etc. And the only thing he asks of you is to be patient and play fair. If you can't be patient, that's on you, he's busting his ass all day every day. what are you doing to help him?

Have faith man! DM ~Nasomi on naschat with as much detail as you can. Leave Naschat open if you can, and he will get to you and help.

I had a shit ton of my own gil hacked and stolen, and it took some time but it was all returned.

This is important. He may have sent you a message back already, but you werent online to receive it. To anyone trying to get help from nasomi, you need to not only DM him, but stay in nas chat as often as possible to try and receive his response.

One thing to keep in mind tho, is that on each attempt I made on multiple days to PM Nasomi, I left Naschat and the PM open the entire time, while also playing... and hours later I'd still be in game and check the PM for a reply, only to see a disconnection notice.

I am not sure if that means you have to have Naschat open and cannot alt tab and do other things, or what exactly causes the disconnect/timeout.

I dont want you guys to take this the wrong way but the security flaw is in this website, its so easy to hack its very sad.

A Database of everyones info is literally stored in the directory on this server and anyone with half a brain can see it. I myself have never even been past level 50 on FFXI and have never had more then a couple hundred thousand gil and could care less, but i do know lots have put in thousands of hours here.
