I thought I'd see mention of this in this thread this morning. There's more to it than two groups simply following the rules and /randoming for claim on Valk. The part that gets me is the "just don't be dicks" part, which you guys were clearly being.

First of all, I do work a job 8AM to 5PM, 40-50 hours a week. And every day I get home, there's at least 2 or 3 holding parties out in BuBu. Same people every night. I rarely have the opportunity to go in and merit. And you know, that's fine; it's a little upsetting that people who don't have jobs/live on the east coast basically have claim, but that's just the way it is I guess.

So, I went out there about 7PM EST, thereabouts, and start putting my party together while it's empty. When I have about 4 people ready to go, Impulse (I think) rolls up and goes in, which is not something I had a problem with seeing as how we weren't ready and still waiting on our RDM to show who was still going to be a little while. Shortly thereafter we get our 5th and are just waiting on our RDM to finish up at Nid before we go in.

About an hour and a half later, while most of us had already been there waiting for nearly 2 hours, our RDM shows up at nearly the exact same time as DB shows up and they earnestly expect us to just give up our position because "their RDM got their first". They started spouting off something about the "rules" or whatever, which I can honestly say I didn't really give a shit about in that particular instance because I had people who had been waiting there for 2 hours and I'm not about to give up our spot because some arbitrary rule, that I never agreed to; never had a say in; was about to fuck us over, says I have to have a sleeper in my party in order to be holding the position. It's just not happening. Sorry.

Our RDM decides he's feeling lucky and says he's going to roll and at that point I really couldn't care either way what happens because it's all quite frankly a load of horseshit. He rolls, we win and they leave.

My point to all of this is that: The rules are arbitrary, a lot of us never agreed to them. Have some god damn courtesy.

Yeah, I wouldn't have randomed. I would have just entered. Like Wolfhardt is saying, it boils down to people not being asshats, which I know is tough.

lol like I said... trying to enforce an agreement that the people you're discussing with didn't play a role in forming is going to have issues sometimes. I think people ignore common sense/spirit of the creation of the holding party agreement when it suits them, and that those people commonly have a blue pearl on. That's all I was saying.

Obviously... If an entire group has been there for 2hours besides a RDM, and your entire group shows up while the zone isn't empty.. and their RDM shows up before the zone does become empty? The 4-5 people standing there for hours is going to enter next, and not really care about the made up rules you're talking about.

If the zone empties, and the RDM still isn't there, then they aren't ready to enter when they can.

This would be fine and all if people didn't flat out jump us when we would show up in Bubu and wait. We had issues twice with the same person in Bubu who would jump us, with no reason other than the idea that DB has more Bubu groups than other shells and afk holds the zone, which I know for a fact isn't the case with my group. It's a little annoying when the people who were around to help make the rules bends them or just flat out ignores them to suit their needs for the day. My group follows them to the T, we don't hold a zone line until we have everything we need there and then move into line. In the end it's very "whatever". I will continue to obey the rules that previous groups have made.

Wait, what? The first thing out of my mouth when your RDM and I showed up, at the same time, was "lets random for zone". You disagreed and starting spouting off at the mouth, which included telling Goren to suck your dick (but "DrAConiCBubU sO iMmaTure). Your RDM felt so bad that he sent 3 of us tells apologizing. This is the kind of bs that is said about DB that's a complete lie. Yes, you had a thf and 3 blms there for a couple hours. We had a Thf and a BLM there for hours also. The common thing missing from both was a sleeper. Which both sleeps showed up after Nid, at the same time. All I wanted to do was random, which we did finally. When we lost, we left immediately. If you want ss from it, lmk, I have em.

1) I've seen you(Summit) standing with one group of DB, then as they enter you go stand with your group. But keep pushing the narrative that DB does nothing wrong. There's a reason you're called "DraconicBuburimu" and "DunesBallad".

2) I'm fairly certain I've seen some of you(DB) abusing the fact that some Dyna zones don't share a lockout with the others(another thing I've been waiting to see fixed/people punished for). Not to mention the times there's 3+ groups from DB sitting out at the heiros but none of them are ready to go in, so the zone sits empty for 20+ minutes.

3) I sent multiple times? To you? I sent it once to Aeroo and apologized for it after because I legitimately shouldn't have acted like that and felt bad. However, you and Aeroo did get me tilted by jumping us when we did nothing but allowed Yes to go in front of us.

I distinctly remember "FIRST". And yeah, suck my dick. The only other person there was a BLM and THF *which* we were still there before them.

But you see, that's the point. I'm not going to /random you for a spot I had been there with 4 other people waiting on for 2 hours. He decided to do it. If we had lost, whatever, take it and go fuck yourself.

Edit: Love how you glossed over the DB (former?)MO of afking with multiple groups at the heiros. Just because YOU stop doing it, doesn't mean your LS will, which leads me to not respecting your LS' places in the magical "line".
