This doesn't account at all for how many were sold out of bazaars the last 15 days. It's totally possible those that are putting them up in bazaar's right now are only putting 1 up at a time so as not to flood the market, but are indeed selling at a higher clip than 1 per 7.5 days.

Lets be honest. The supply is huge, the crafters have already silently agreed to not flood the market and keep things at a certain price as it hasn't shifted in quite some time. This is a game though so price fixing is a real thing. Until someone else levels a craft and not plays by the their rules you'll likely have to pay the asking price.

Just look at enfeebling torque. Supply availability hasn't changed and yet there are now 30 enfeebling torques on the AH. This only happens when someone else enters the OWNM market and doesn't limit their supply. That or RFK is selling their position.

@Meridian90: People will only run to bazaars if they can't get it off AH for that price.

As mentioned I am in no rush and don't need one asap, was just seeing 7 up for sale
and was considering getting one now.

People on this forum forget that an item is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. I was able to get one of my Mistleteinns at under 50% AH price because there was no demand.

Demand for Chat staves spiked over the summer thanks to bubu and a couple of other factors. Ore prices spiked to compensate. Demand for staves has slowed, so ore is now backing up on the AH and going down in price. The price on staves will fall with the price on ore. This shit is cyclical and always has been. Offering cost for an item like chat staff is insulting, but if you time it right, you can get lucky. Some people will praise you for that, and others will call you a cheap bitch, and usually their bias has to do with how involved in the economy they are.

Oh, and the whole ore backing up was like a week ago. It's all pretty in flux again.

Quite a few chat staff sales happen outside of bazaars and the AH, as well. I bought mine from Camper, and send everyone I know that wants to buy one to him too.

RKF has a lot of people with chat staff, and I don't know of any of them buying them out of bazaars or the AH. Except Infiltration.
