You should be a legend on this server Deadwing. All the content you've provided has led to countless hours of enjoyment by so many people over the years. It's too bad your vision for a server-wide LS coming together to kill AV with mercenaries didn't work out. We disagreed with that and how you handled leadership, and we left. Hope you're happy with how things worked out, because we definitely are.
Let's take that screenshot and put it in its proper context shall we?
Late December 2016 Alpha's subsidiary linkshell Skydive (lead by Epyon) texted me asking to kill a Fafnir that had been up several hours. I was with my family for the holidays, as many were, and didn't see a problem with it.
Fid and Gov saw a major problem with it and wanted to kick Epyon. I told them that I had approved the kill and that if they disagreed with that decision they should have a problem with me, not Epyon. At the end of the conversation they agreed not to kick him. Three days later they kicked him. I re-pearled him, and cue the conversation from the screenshot.
I stood up for Epyon as I would have stood up for any member of my shell in that situation. "My way or the highway" is the only reasonable response to leaders who behave that irresponsibly; and I'm happy to make that the hill I die on as an LS leader.
The way the quoted post frames the situation is exactly the sort of narrative control/slander Fid and Gov are so good at. Much more to come this Halloween
We didn't kick him, he left on his own and I'd be happy to show screenshots but I'm at school and not at my home computer. Nice try changing the narrative yourself. Care to address the other allegations about your behavior taking advantage of coding? The conflict of interest is still very present.
Just post the Halloween stuff now and get it over with, no one wants to wait 6 more days. This is probably boring for almost everyone who didn't play 3 years ago anyways.
I've always respected what you've done for the server. I just don't think you get a free pass to act like you're better than anyone else because of it. I don't even play anymore, I beat this game already and I'm at a stage in my life where I can't play for hours every day anymore. This has been fun though, drag me and my shell as much as you want. It's nothing new for us.
Edit: feels like you're about to blame me for Nas not accepting outside code because people didn't like the conflict of interest you clearly took advantage of. Maybe we should have just shut the fuck up and let you have your way, praising you the entire way. That's not how life works, unfortunately. Looking forward to Halloween though.
