Nas has been pretty firmly against advertising discords for the server on the forums.

As for the level sync, I think it's fine. Nas has always said that his formula takes into account those that are AFK... meaning that if he made the limits without taking that into account, the threshholds would actually be much smaller. He inflated them because of those AFK/mules.


I just think it should be a flat 15 levels, but I've always said that. He didn't seem to care before, I doubt he does now.

Because he is dumb, a server discord would be amazing he just knows he cant control it and thats his goal, to control everything.

The server wide LS was a cesspool of trolls and arguments about anything and everything. After that I can see why he didn't want a server discord.

I can usually get a group past 50 half of the time. Most people have a few jobs that are leveled up a little bit. I just feel a bit bad for lower level players who are new, that are looking to experience leveling with a group.

I do hate sitting in a party with 5 people and waiting for a 6th to finally log on or LFP or basically have to disband. It really comes down to having to message people not looking for a party and hope you can convince them to join you (I always bring a PL). Not to mention for someone leveling a mage job, how much harder it is for them.

Actually made a discord last night to help people find xp pt's / cop / rank missions. Just a concept, not sure if it will even be helpful but have around 25~ people on it atm.

Just make no level restriction like eden so you can level to 75 in the dunes since server is dogshit population and you cant get a group anywhere else

But then people will use pl spikes to power level. Seen a few parties now using the pl spikes to lower the mobs hp down for easy kills and smash the exp with mass chaining.
It's almost like they hate old ffxi's achievement with levelling and should move back to retail with expin meaning nothing.

I'd really like to have sync be opened up. I leveled my jobs with LSmates every chance I could get, and now my jobs are all 37-75. So for months now I see newer people playing the game, and I can't level with these LSmates because the jobs I play can't sync down to them. They are working subs, or starting out on their first job, and I can't participate with them. It'd be nice if you could play the game with the people you want to play with. I imagine leveling with them on their way to 75, but instead I just see them partying together, as I fish. Sadly, I know something good like the sync being opened will never happen.

Sounds like something that could be remedied by allowing 75's to sync to whatever level.

No one that is 75 wants to level in the dunes. End game camps are waaaay more efficient. Just let people who are already 75 sync down to whatever. It would essentially allow the 3/4 of the population that are already 75 to play with their friends sub jobs.

My friend doesn't want to level their BLM it just so happens to be the only thing in my sync range. At least let the 75s get merits while we PT.
