good info so far. you can take any synth craft to 30 in a matter of hours if you have the gil. getting fishing from zero to 30 takes around a week's worth of solid playtime, regardless of your resources.

my strategy was to refrain from restricting myself to one particular craft. if you do that, you will find that it is easier to find recipes that will produce a material that you will use as a material somewhere else in your process.

study the somepage recipe lists. please find your own way
