There's zero evidence that implicates him in the theft of anything, much less everything else. Why would he use the bazaar for one item? lol. He gave it back as soon as the guy asked him to. Pretty sure it'd make the account stealer much more stupid to think he should bazaar one item to himself, than to think doing so would help him get away with it.

I've also had random people in towns selling expensive gear for 1 gil, and telling people to buy it. Guess what? I buy it everytime.

Disproving a negative isn't really how life works. If you want to publicly blame someone, you're gonna need more evidence then a completely plausible story and the item that he has returned to you. Nas will never, in a million years, tell you what happened to someone else. It could be months until he responds to you, and even longer before he would ever punish the person that did it if he can even determine who it is.

Holding someone's reputation hostage with zero evidence at all isn't you doing the right thing.



Yes, this is why Nas does the punishing of individuals instead of you. All you know is that someone bought a single item, out of hundreds, that you are missing... and then promptly returned it when he was told that it wasn't someone giving away items (Which happens fairly frequently)

Either Niknak is actually autistic, or you're accusing someone with zero reason to accuse them of hacking your account.



People quit Nasomi and give away their items in town fairly frequently. 6-9 months ago it used to be even more frequently, but even now.. you'll randomly see people with a big crowd bazaaring things for 1 gil as they're leaving. People also mistakenly list things in their bazaar for amounts that they don't intend, and when that happens.. those items are also fair game. Whether you keep them is based on your morality. Sounds like Niknak's morality is in a good place, since he promptly gave the item back. Did you even refund his 1 gil?

This situation and someone buying known stolen property IRL aren't remotely related.



Very easy for you to chill, as no one has accused you of stealing from them with zero evidence.

were they mass putting everything on AH for 1 gil? to transfer between chars?

did they put everything on bazaar for 1 to be sucked out between chars? NO

all that has to be done is nasomi to check the logs until he finds whose responsible.

I feel niknak is innocent, but he has some attachment to the person who hacked OP, cause why would he randomly selected in /tell for a bazaar 1 item? And it was the only one. super suspicious unless either he himself did the hacking and tried to use it as a guize of innocence, or he knows the hacker in one shape or another. did other people get these 1 gil item deals? Was it in shout/say/etc?

Id say for now avoid nik just in case he was super involved i dont want my chars at jeopardy

i never bazaar item before that, my last 2 other bazaar it for LS reward event, they ask me to bazaar an item
so they can easily give our event reward than trade 1 by 1

the hacker most likely baz'd the mantle for 1g to frame some random schmuck so that you would waste your time
