If I told you (generic you) "2+2=4" and you (generic you, but in this case actual you) took it personally and responded, "2+2!=5" then why would I refute what I didn't say? I wouldn't, and I didn't. I "paraphrased" what I originally stated in hopes that you would understand what I'm attempting to convey.

If playing on this server is about competing with others then compete by whatever means you (generic you) feel personally comfortable doing. If instead you (generic you) play for personal enjoyment and to relive an experience that you (generic you) had in retail, then compartmentalize the fact that you (generic you) can take that sweet, sweet heroin/game genie/EZ mode option and play as if those options aren't available.

In terms of "inflationary effects." Islands have no inflationary effects. "Be an island" means that inflation doesn't effect you because you are self sufficient.

Have you done heroin before? Are you currently using? Because your analogy is dumber than a box of rocks, much like your post. The feeling of nostalgia from 2003-2007 for me comes from the competition. It comes from doing server firsts, from breaking METAs and forging a new path. It's not just some imaginary thought of "I enjoyed the game like this, so I MUST play it like this, even if everybody else I'm competing with is on heroin." Although when it comes to PEDs, heroin is probably one of the last you'd use.

I'm completely lost with your analogy, as are many others. Please try better next time.
