Yea content is neat but check this out.

Reading through the older thread I noticed Zigma's videos that he posted a tracert to the server 1 DNS name. This is the smoking gun that confirms a theory I've been working on.

His tracert has a SINGLE hop in it. For those of you not familiar with networking this might not seem like a big deal, but in this case it is. This indicates Zigma is not within 100 miles and likely on the same ISP like I proposed. It indicates the client he ran that trace on and is playing Nasomi on is in the same damn data center as server 1 on the same damn network. Now I don't believe Mr. Zigma works/lives in that data center so he is leasing a VM or a PC on the same hosting service Nasomi uses. From there he could remote desktop to the VM and play as if he was sitting in Nasomi's basement. His Nasomi client is right next to the server, but the graphics are streamed to his remote PC. The graphics to wherever he lives would be delayed, but if spamming claim macro the commands will be constant and therefore would fire the instant the mob popped on his client in the data center.

Technically, I don't think doing this for lower latency is actually cheating. It's a clever bullshit advantage that nobody will be able to compete with, but nothing specifically against the rules I suppose. That coupled with what is probably .dat file modification(definately cheating) to remove mobs in his spam area are in my opinion what make his claim unbeatable. Has anyone seen him interact with the mobs he wasn't targeting on pop? If yes then it could also be a claim bot. The shit about zooming in and moving camera angle is 100% garbage and doesn't explain the video.

Hopefully Nasomi can investigate this. One possible solution would be to block client connections from systems on the same network as the server 1 proxy. But then it would just be the next ping king that gets claims, so expanding auto claim is the better answer. The laughable thing is this is probably costing Zigma roughly the same amount it would as a monthly retail subscription.

I'd tried ordering a VM from the same company several times prior, and they were always sold out. Looks like they're in stock now.

5ms would be pretty terrible latency within the same DC, though - that should be well below 1ms.

Which company is that, friend? Let's all get on the same page for the sake of competition.

Sure.

https://buyvm.net/

If you whois the IPs for the proxy servers, you'll see they're all FranTech, and BuyVM appears to be the subsidiary Frantech sells VMs through.
