Back with some more Summoner testing.
I was using the IT birds in Misareaux Coast to test on.
I had 2 merit in Thunderstorm already so i couldnt test from the first merit, test were done with and without SMN magic gear.
I have 3 merits in MACC and 2 in MATT in group 1 merits.

I do think Smn magic effects the Macc of the BP, as it does seem to be cutting the resists in by half from the small amount of testing i did.
Smn magic doesnt seem to be effecting the overall damage from the BP (which looks correct from wiki) that seems more inline with what merits you have in thats group 2 merits.

Rolls and food do effect the overall dmg and acc of the BP, i was using PUP roll and Grape Daifuku.

Sorry forgot to put on the photo top ones are with 324 and bottom 285 smn magic.
Sleeps landed well, i did die a couple of times so didnt go overboard, wasnt any missed targets. There was 1 case where 2 mobs woke up at 27sec and the other 2 at 56secs i assume it was a half resist or something.
Not sure how far the SMN magic will go in terms of being consistant at HNM, I'll try and get some claims and test it. Havnt tested MB yet but at 1k-2k dmg should be able to see around 1.4-1.5k BP.
Will do some more testing on ward pacts, and try and work out if the timers are different on each wards, or if they are just a set amount of seconds accross all of them.
This was take from an update from a 2006 update;
http://www.playonline.com/pcd/update/ff ... etail.htmlThe summoner job has undergone the following adjustments:
The summoner pet command Blood Pact has been divided into two categories
Blood Pact: Rage (Recast time: 1 minute)
Orders the avatar to use special attacks.
Blood Pact: Ward (Recast time: 1 minute)
Orders the avatar to use support abilities.
-Blood Pact will now receive different effects when the value added by equipment or merit points exceeds the skill cap for that level.
*Players can experience increased accuracy when using Blood Pact: Rage or
lengthened effect durations when using Blood Pact: Ward. The length of the duration increased varies depending on which Blood Pact is used, but will not exceed 180 seconds.*A player whose summoning magic skill is lower than the skill cap will not experience any penalties, such as a decrease in accuracy or shortened effect durations.
-Players will now also experience increases in skill when using the Blood Pact: Rage and Blood Pact: Ward pet commands.
Very happy to see these results, as smn was my favorite job in retail
