It sucks that it turned out to be that way for you, and I guess it's normal for some people to be mad at it.
Turns out nas said a decade ago that he would add hourglasses, and it never happened, so maybe that's why some people felt like their butt squeezed at the moment they read the server message.

To add my grain of salt, I also think that a way to end outland's spamming should be added, be it more money to entry, a X-time lockdown or some way to make mobs much more resistant to sleep.
I want to make some relics, but at the rate currency is farmed and by the price it is sold, some people (me included) will reach their goals much faster.
And that is cool to some degree, but after you finish your goals in a game what's next? To quit the game sometimes, sadly.
I've seen close friends leave the game on retail not long after getting a relic/mythic.
And the relic nerf at the same time is a mistake by the same reasons, why would you work on getting a weapon that is only slightly better than the ones sold on ah, or dropped by a random nm?

I'm pretty sure he said that he wouldn't be changing it to a 3 day lockout when he implemented hourglasses.

But why? That's more in-era than Dyna Burning(my runs take 65-80mins) with 4 characters and walking out with 12 merits. I did AoE Manaburn PTs on retail in this era and while it wasn't as refined as we've made it here, it worked nonetheless.

These stances are better than the status quo, I'm in favor of full deletion/reset.

Moreso the out of era exp spots. Pugil camp, but crawlers too, they're fun as a melee burn but also didn't exist. Take them all out for all I care. Fix Greater colibri and mamool ja staging point. Add pet exp back into the server.

I know maybe Relics don't mean shit to you guys that find every niche to dig out of shit and bypass how the game was actually played. It took me 2 years and I'm still only stage 4 with just needing the items from Dyna X. Maybe call me stupid for not doing things that aren't right but because a lot of you devalued yourselves , don't devaulate my time and effort into it and try and screw me over. There's always gonna be things that are very grey in here and like 80% choose to take that route and then shit on others for not having what they have. Not trying to ride a high horse , just remember there are very different people who play this game and some actually did work for shit that others exploited.
