How you found us?: Known about Nasomi for a while, newer fast-paced FFXI with constant botting, cheating, and LUA-only mentality kind of killed the vanilla game for me.

It's funny that now a "vanilla" player is expected to have a bunch of add-ons and automated processes to help them win, while "filthy casuals" using standard macros are frowned upon.

Other MMO's? No.

So far I am enjoying the slower and simpler pace. Guess I'm old.

Thanks! I really do love the old school feel. After the change to the Exp tables in the latest update though, I'm getting very little Exp for easy preys that are nearly killing me. Making the grind from level 33 to 34 even harder. >.<

I have a MNK/THF/WAR at 50ish, but looking to level up my 40NIN soon. You should be looking to party at that level! soloing is totally an option though.

I’ve been partying but it’s been a significant challenge to find a decent party for the last week and a half, so I kinda got stuck here. I’m in two good linkshells but they’re all far ahead of me. For the fun of it I just started an alt MNK. I forgot how much I enjoy that job.
