So if word hasn't made it to you yet, someone threw around 400m+ buying seemingly random items from bazaars last night.

My situation was as such:



Around 12 hours passed and Nasomi seems to have reverted most or all of the damage done, my normal gil count was returned and items were returned.

The situation that I'm curious about is what happened to anyone who spent the gil over those 12 hours. If Person A had say, spent 100m on several pieces of gear to persons B, C, and D. The gil wouldn't be there to remove. Nas could just undo those transactions as well, But Persons B, C, and D could have also purchased items. You can see how things could become exponentially problematic.

Has anyone found themselves in this situation that's interested in pitching in?
Anyone know someone in that situation?
Even if you wish to omit names, some transparency as to how things were handled would be appreciated.

This is exciting!!! you just never know what is going to happen next!

Real question is what is their goal? Inflate the economy with gil? or deflate the rare item market (as I assume they are picking up all the rare items, then dropping them?)
Artificially attempting to destroy the market/economy of the server? Also, how is the gil being generated? Was it stolen/taken or printed?
By laundering the money through legitimate people, it makes full reclamation and reversal of the damage unstoppable without affecting the normal players at the same time.

Had gil removed and item returned, although nasomi dont love me like he loves Njr he didnt sign my dusk legs+1, the ones he gave me back aren't even signed by me anymore.

When this all happened i wondered the same as you about what would happen if the gil was spent. I PMd nas right away when it happened because i didnt want to get wrapped up as possibly being involved.

When I read that, I actually pictured nas kicking down my door and taking my gil. Thanks for the laugh.

The gil was not legitimate.

This wasn't "millions of gear worth" it was HUNDREDS of millions of gil worth. There are less than a handful of people on this server with that kind of gil. Also when that much gil is spent, even if legitimate it should raise an eyebrow.
