Never understood why jailed characters return to play on new characters? It's incredibly difficult to prevent that, especially as a one person or small operation. Large gaming companies with all their resources still have a hard time kicking and keeping their worst offenders out, especially with F2P games.

Some F2P game companies have moved to hardware bans as well as IP bans. Hell Riot Games still bans Xj9 via hardware/reports, on sight after 8+ years.

Yeah its common, but can still bypass so hwid bans are only as reliable as the game security architecture behind the game/company in question.
