Has anyone tried to kill the Valkrum dunes OWNM?
What are some strategies?

They use adamantoise TP moves. The 20 cap ones can 100-0 a full HP Galka Warrior with the the breath attacks. So your only real option is to keep them at range.

I've also heard about people tanking them with summons, but I've never seen that myself.

it used to be hard as balls since dunes used to have zero mob collision with structures. while i think its still a harder 20 for w/e reason (hp or stats or w/e), there are places u can easily kite it now. I don't suggest kiting around the Outpost since u might accidently kill half the bazaars there.

Unless you're experienced with OWNMs, I would honestly avoid the 20 cap ones. Start with 40-60, the 20 cap ones require a lot more effort as previously stated by someone.
There are many groups and LS who do them as well. There's not too much more that can be covered, they're one of those things where you kinda need to dive head first. Just remember the set up and don't try to be like that one streamer dude and don't take advice lol. I wish you good luck.

20 caps are harder due to lack of gravity. Dunes has lots of stuff you can run it into, though, so that helps. If you're using rangers, striders are a big boon. I've heard of a few groups using the summoner method as previously mentioned, but not something I've tried.

u can pull w/ grav on thf/rdm. if Somnolence worked that would be the say to go.

I doubt you have the DPS at 20 to kill them prior to grav wearing, though.

can do like 30-50% w/ grav on easy mode though.
