I don't really know what you mean when you bring up ranger. I think the most I said about it was that nas told me it was buff for certain ranges, ranges that are harder to use, and a nerf for others which are easier to use.

I wasn't really nearly as involved with any change as you might think, especially when it came to those things. Just passed along the message.

Yelling at nas about bugs and trying to get him to make changes a lot of people ask for, since he gives me reasons as to why he doesn't do them (or why they're low priority to do) and allows for some back and forth, was all I did when we talked. Most of the time I just say his reasons are bad. My optimism comes from thinking I can convince him to do anything at all, which has worked only a few times.

edit: heck, looking at my pm history with him on naschat, one of our last conversations was specifically about the RNG patch, about how some of it was unintentional, how the wording of the patch could have been better, me saying over and over that it needed to be fixed asap, in a maint the next day, that he should post the damage calc changes... etc. I really don't think I've ever advocated for a nerf on anything to nas

This statement you made multiple times through the RNG nerf thread is what I'm referencing. Nobody was saying you were involved in changes then or now, we were saying you are(were) nothing but a teacher's pet for Nas at best.

The fact that you STILL can't understand that shows me nothing has really changed, but again, welcome back. Maybe Ahriman can have some help with support in IRC now.

Edit: Also, idk how you got one of the dupegroup to give you all their items and tossed(?) them yet couldn't get Nasomi to do something about the rest of the stuff in circulation.

I don't know what you mean about the dupegroup. But I do know nas found evidence of a huge exploit and that I was tasked with finding how it was done for him, and helped get it fixed (I think?) at the time. Everything on my character I got legit, I don't think I'm holding anything from a character that duped anything. That being said I've told nas many times that if he thought there was any sort of issue where he felt I was treated unfairly that he could always delete my character.

The dupegroup I'm referring to is Dimitri/Nikita, Bemont/Sabers, Allmightoh and others. I know Schlag/Aerec/Lyle were all given items before the bans started happening and the day of the bans. Sadly, Nas never reached out about my RNG testing results because, as you know from your position, at times he is unquestionable. It's all gucci, if you're here to help Nas in IRC more power to you. If you just want to play that's cool too.

it's been so long i don't really know who these people are. i do recall that bemont name, though. i dont *think* i'm holding any items from people like that though. i don't know why i would have them, maybe just a rumor?

i have a few friends who want to play, but their availability is really low. ffxi isn't very forgiving if you can't spend large solid time blocks on it
