You're wrong man. SQL logs can be shrunk, archived, etc. It is a lot easier than you think.

Also can confirm retail chat logs were held onto every server 1 year. Other logs like combat and stuff you do not see were held on for 3 months for US side. JP side had logs for years they could pull...
So ya even retail basically had an infinite time to track logs.

I found some kclub dupping just now that would have potentially put an innocent person in jail, had it not been for chat logs.
