I have never experienced worse de-synthing in the last week or more.

De-synthing has been 50% on average on off days and 60% breaks on elemental strength day.

Algorithm is broken.... for it to be this bad across all days , and moon phases!

Nasomi playing with algorithm to slow server maturity?

THIS IS INSANE!!!!!

Your jocularity is appreciated to lighten the mood. I am not alone in this opinion though.

Any opinion is welcome!

Definitely noticed a huge jump in crit fail and fail rate. Don’t have a huge sample size with the issue in place but I’ve done most of my desynths hundreds/thousands of times. Crit fail rate has held pretty consistently to around 50% across 4 stacks on two separate day or moon phase scenarios. Fail rate is sitting at about 70-75% when you factor in non crit fails. Something is messed up.

Definitely glad I'm not the only one having this issue. Desynthed about 25 stacks where I was 40 levels above cap and had about 30% crit fail 20% fail 25% HQ 25% NQ sad times

Might be my first post on the forums. Read about desynthing and gave it a go. I'm 93+2 smithing and i stopped after 14 synths. 8/14 backplates lost. 10 breaks total (two of them no lost plates). 2 irons and the rest NQ. That many levels above cap shouldn't be breaking that many. Sure a larger sample size for better science, but that's super disheartening that it seems to be not just me.

If it's nerfed, can there be an announcement about it at least? Hanging up my lightning clusters for now =\

Another small sample but just did 30 shell shield desynths. Level 23 synth. I have lvl 60 BC so tier 2. 12 NQ 2HQ1 and lost 16 shields. Also been seeing bad results on smithing desynths in small batches since it has been so bad. The smithing includes tier 1 2 and 3 desynths.
