This is objectively false. Windurst is the best city to start in as you get a bonus ring when you start as the two best races.

Windurstians also have a much easier time accessing an entire zone (where it's rumored the OWNM can drop a kraken club [when they're working]) without having to rely on someone else or a series of tedious fetch quests that require a lot of fame.

We have quick and easy access to farming yagudo bead necklaces right from the start to get ahead of the game on Norg fame for the ever elusive Utsusemi: Ichi.

You won't ever have to worry about being 'that guy' who doesn't have the Mea crag crystal when you go to do your Promyvions (Promyvia?).

Also I'm pretty sure I heard that the mission got fixed?

Yeah but I can get access to all of that stuff just by being Bastokan and having Sarutabaruta OP, which is basically available every few weeks cause Bastok is #1.

Windurst is the worst city. Everything is so incredibly spread out, they hardly ever get any region control. Bastok has the best layout imo, OP warp, AH, MH all right next to each other. Windy you have to run 5 minutes to get to where u want to be. Also there is Choco Circuit if you ever need to get to Windy.

windurst is the nation you move to for pleasant living and retirement.

the other two cities are better for getting things done, but imo they are much less enjoyable

This is also objectively false. Who cares about farming 212 yag necks for a spell you won't even need for an advanced job UNTIL you at least reach lvl 30 on a starting job to unlock it when by that time, you can farm up 20k in 30 mins and buy all 18 stacks of necks on the AH? (P.S. - Utsusemi was never elusive lol).

Windy at most will get West Ron OP like 3 times a year so while you can say "You" won't ever have to worry about being "that guy" who doesn't have Mea for Promys ..... you WILL be "that guy" who will worry about not having Holla all the while, Sandy and Basty defends our OP's every week.

OWNM's haven't had drops for a month and it doesn't look like they will in the very near future considering Nas has other coding priorities in place at the moment so that KC drop is irrelevant. BCNM onry

If summoning magic is the Vana'diel equivalent of nuclear weaponry (and it is) then yes, it's good for that. AND it remains beautiful. Just the other day on discord my LS mate said "I hear birds; what is that?" My game sound had come through my mic. I said, "That is Sarutabaruta."
