That way there will be room for all the parties. The sync range limitation helps immensely with this. Imagine what the dunes would look like without sync restriction. Even if the exp was penalized for every level beyond 10 levels, the dunes population wouldn't be 100, it would be 200+.
This is right. It sucks for the 55+ crowd, like really sucks. But a smaller sync range makes people who'd stay in the "hot spots" spread out due to the inability to party there. But most people quit before they get to 50-55 anyways, so things will only get worse for the later levels.

I disagree, we need a constant influx of hundreds of people. That way they outnumber the PL alts. The trick is for people to move out of the dunes and on to qufim, kazham, CN, etc. I think more people setting their HP in jeuno would go a long way for that. People seem to make large jumps, like dunes 12-28, then kazham 28-40. It's easier to make a more natural progression. I've done 3 jobs 1-60 in the past 6 months going strict 12-20 dunes, 20-24 qufim, 24-32 kazham, 32-46 CN. It is much more comfortable that way, and there's honestly never been a problem finding parties.
Maybe, but even more important right now is that more of these new players progress into the 40-65 range. This server has always been extraordinarily bottom heavy and still is. Nas has has been working hard and the early game he's built is working great, but something has been causing most players to quit before or around reaching later levels. BCNMs back in will def help, but the nostalgia wears off and the hard grind kicks in, and perhaps once there are more players in that range, the complaints might reveal the balance issues, lack of camp issues, or bugs that have been keeping people from staying. Demand on many low level items is currently sky rocketing too. Without more established newer players to craft and supply this new influx, the economy is going to discourage new players too.
