It's also not a terribly fun nm to camp with an 8 hour window. Honestly your best bet is to sit out there and when its up, hit up your LS or something to come help kill it

As others have pointed out, you should get a Great Axe for your warrior. Swords are pretty much useless for that job. Dont bother getting a Joyeuse unless you are lvling RDM.

Be careful of what you post. Most people here are nice enough to offer their help/advice or to just ignore you (which is ok), but some people enjoy trolling and mocking unexperienced players (such as warriors that use swords )

Also, check the recruitment section of these forums if you are looking for an endgame LS. There is an interesting progression LS called SOLDIER

Absolutely, of course... it's completely fine to ask for help. You truly never know what is possible until you ask.

But I can't help but feel there is a slight disconnect, from the reality of what goes in to actually camping for sometimes days (depending on how much playtime you can devote in a block of time) just to get a ToD, and THEN camping to go for a pop/claim which is often against serious competition, and then the harsh reality of how hard the fight is if you don't have the right jobs (such as EVA tank, RDM, BRD).

I'll make the point shorter and simple: Go out to the zone, try for yourself a little the experience of killing PHs, get a ToD, maybe even watch someone attempt a kill. It might adjust your point of view.

So this is what happens when you get to endgame and ask for help with something as you can see nobody wants to help a "Stranger" apparently. Which why its just not worth playing on these servers unless its just for nostalgia and then you go play something else. So sorry Jammah your not getting the JoyToy since other people deemed you don't NEED it and don't really want to help a "random".

This is the most out of touch thing I have read on these forums in quite some time. There are hundreds of people on this server who help each other out all the time. If I say "hey can anyone in the LS come help me kill something, please", I often get 6-7 people just jump out and help me for nothing. Throwing a help request for an 8 hour windowed NM that is a 21 hour respawn time to a bunch of strangers on the internet is QUITE different than how most of us got our swords.
