Not exactly. You can compare posted prices here to there, and adjust to get a feel for it. If you see some rare items still showing numbers going back a few years and they capped out at somethimg like 1/12 the price you can actually see being listed here, then you have some sort of index to work from. Which is what the OP was asking for, a starting point.
As I stated in the last post... it is the only index you can actually look at, because there is no history of the prices here. Absent of numbers one can actually look up here, it boils down to the value the individual is willing to pay/charge... because there is currently no searchable index specifically for them here.
There are too many differences between even era retail and Nasomi for the numbers to be useful.
The fact that the prices you mentioned were 1/20 to 1/40 of Nasomi reality speaks volumes.
Actually no. When I looked, I saw a +1 kote listed here for 8m. Saw them on Sylph I think going for up to 800k going back to something like 2012. On that same server the gaiters capped at 1.5 at the oldest price point. That would adjust to around 15m. Note someone posted they actually paid 18m, another posted somewhere around 12 or 13m.
Again, remember the OP was asking for a starting figure... a place to start negotiating, I guess.
My bad I guess for not fully walking people through the thought process earlier, but it is frustrating doing research and posts on a phone at work sometimes with all the typos and such. Expected people would be able to work it out on their own.
Assuming that the only thing effecting item price is inflation is also a terrible assumption. If you actually understand the worth of Gaiters you dont need to see a sale history to know that people will pay upwards of 25m for them. You're throwing darts blind as if your "educated" guess is even remotely close to their worth.
