The only 100% effective way to do it. Yes, it's three buttons per WS, but that's unfortunately the best way to do it.
I agree with the separate TP Gear set macro (mainly because I have multiple TP sets, depending on current buffs up) but is it necessary to separate the WS Gear macro and the WS macro? I've tested numerous times, while spamming other macros, and never once did a Shark Bite vary outside of the WS damage range that it should. This is with (#1st line /equipset xx #2nd /ws "Weapon skill") no waits at all. I was under the assumption that if the WS goes off then the equipset will go off 100%. This is my findings with 100+ tests doing it both ways.
Also in regards to saying that "3 macros is just better than one" thats not entirely true. You can only really do so many inputs (especially if you're dualboxing), and sometimes optimal involves less blinking. I remove my provoke set while meriting because it simply causes me to have to press too buttons (I almost exclusively dualbox in merits) and pressing one less thing means being more optimal on my mage, or positioning better on my main (because blinking is a pain while trying to position mobs.)
Edit: Yeah what Naimah said, if you understand the internal cooldowns of certain inputs, this game runs itself in a pretty straightforward manner.
