I don't disagree with your points here, I'm just more of a "let's wait and see before we blow a gasket" type of person. I stand by my "one month" prediction. People will adjust and things will be fine. SMN isn't dead and RNG won't be either. Will the overall power level decrease? Perhaps? But will the job be garbage. Nope.

This was a change to how the class was played that was extremely controversial even on retail. Nas could just literally lower their damage if they were doing too much, much like he did with.... Summoner, which is STILL absurdly uncoded compared to retail, but was fairly and rightfully nerfed in its damage output. Got to disagree that they are the same. And for those comparing it to beast, beast was nothing like retail, and was brought back in line or nerfed too hard. All three of these are different >.>

Which I find, personally, hysterical as someone who had RNG lvl’d to 75 around TOAU’s release in a good endgame shell, and the shit was hardly used at all for many reasons.

I understand everyone wants to keep abusing it, because it’s easy, but it’s really ridiculous.

I was a RNG main on retail when that nerf happened. The job was broken prior and still playable after.

I doubt all this. RNG was used along with BLM as the primary DD on everything except Faf/Nid until the yalm nerf happened. Keep pulling shit out of your ass.
