And to the OP, who's to say what the "value" of a gold ingot is? It's value is dictated by the worth of those selling it and the amount of people buying it. Perhaps people with less gil making capabilities are farming them now, so to them 130k a stack is worth it to sell at the rate it will. Why don't you do what you're saying they should be doing, sit on all of your gold ingots until the price goes up. If you cant expect yourself to do the same, then I fail to see your point. Gold ingot prices will ALWAYS fluctuate based off if someone is pounding through them to skill up goldsmithing. Regular usage in order to make crafts that involve ingots will never be enough to maintain a steady price, and will always lead to overstock and undervaluing. This probably will only get worse assuming the amount of players farming will increase at a rate higher than the amount of people skilling up on gold ingots (very likely).

It's supply and demand. If gold ingots are selling for 120k, they're worth 120k. Same with ele ore, same with emperor hairpins, same with everything else. The price is going down because of supply. When On Stock hits 0, that's when the price will go up, OR if only a few people are controlling the supply, which isn't the case for this stuff, there are many more people playing now, newer players trying to farm, and they're going to sell for w/e because they're poor and want that money quickly for short-term bursts of progress towards their gear.

There's hundreds of things you can do, there are tons of NMS being camped by 1 or 2 people, there are many items that come from various sources being farmed/crafted/sold by 1 or 2 people ... on a server with thousands of people.

Ore/Ingots are easy, low-entry cost methods of money that people will flock to until it's barely worth it.

This is all that needs to be said right here, and I doubt the OP will address it, so it's clear that he's just wasting the time of everyone responding.

All you want is the proper amount of gil for the time you spent farming? Then wait around til the prices go back up where you want it, and THEN sell your items. Not gonna do that? Yea, didn't think so.
